TV Autoplay

The Playbar is connected to a Samsung TV via the optical out. Up to recently the Playbar would only play the TV sound if turned on via the Sonos app, it will now play anytime the volume on the TV remote control is changed. The TV autoplay toggle makes no difference. This has been happening for about 2-3m.


Any suggestions how to stop this would be appreciated.

  •  When did it start happening?
  • Is it happening all the time or randomly when you turn on the TV?

I’ll ask you to submit a diagnostic report for us to further investigate what could be causing this issue. You may reply to the thread with the confirmation number to assist you with this issue.
