Tune In

I am becoming increasingly frustrated with Tune In. My issue is that if I start listening to Sonos in one room and want to group this room with another room, I lose my radio station for a period of time to a barrage of advertising on Tune In. This is particularly frustrating when listening to speech radio where you can lose the thread of a discussion. Can this be stopped?

Are the stations available from a different source - MyTuner orRadio player, for example?

I suspect you’re experiencing some sort of wifi interference with your system, in my experience TuneIn only runs what is commonly known as ‘pre-roll’ advertising, where they insert their own stuff at the beginning of a ‘new’ steam, and never in the middle of an existing connection. If your speakers are losing connection, then regaining it, from TuneIn’s perspective, that would look like a ‘new’ event, and they would provide that ‘pre-roll’ again.
