T1 Phono SB Turntable is Connected to Play 5- Sound is very slow

We received our T1 Phono SB Turntable last night and connected it to our Play 5. The sound was initially great, but the belt quickly came off and needed placement again. This happened a few times, but we got it to where the sound was good. We went to use it today and it went from sounding okay to playing way too slow. The belt and everything else seems fine looking at it, and it was working fine. Any idea why the turntable would start warping the sound to super slow?

That sounds like some sort of failure with the pre-amp. Is it built in to your turntable, or do you have an external one? Have you checked to ensure that the switch, if there is one on it, is seated firmly in the “Line” position?

Hey dan_co23, have you figured out your problem yet? I may be experiencing a similar issue and am wondering if you’ve made progress.
