System doesn’t work right after update

We had to update our office system to the new update a few weeks ago and it has not worked right at all since then. It is very frustrating to have such expensive equipment stop being reliable. It routinely skips music claiming connection errors. We are unable to even connect to the system through the apps to try and get it to stop playing too. Sometimes it decides it can’t connect to certain rooms, and other times it just disconnects from all the rooms. Why did it start having these troubles after the last update and how can we fix it?!

Submit a diagnostic and contract Sonos with the number, Phone Twitter or here.

Always best to start your own topic if posting here so you don't get confused by answers that don't apply to you.

As a general suspicion since it is in relation to an update, IP assignment issues. One time fix is to power down everything, reboot router and controllers then power suff back up. Permanant fix is assign static/reserved IP addresses from your router's DHCP page then do the reboot and power cycle above.

As to the problem if it isn't IP related, it may be WiFi noise, you can look at your network matrix and see if there are any obvious issues that you can work on. Edit this to hold your IP and see what you get: http://player-IP-here:1400/support/review

Hi! I have the same problem. The songs in my playlist would skip halfway through each song. There would be no error message, it would just skip. It’s really annoying and I hope it gets fixed soon!
