Symfonisk Bootkshelf Gen 2 S1 software

Hello,

I currently have a Symfonisk Bookshelf Gen 1 along with 4 Gen 1 Connects, setup with the S1 controller. I recently purchased another Symfonisk Bookshelf which is the Gen 2. I tried to add it to my S1 controller but it states it needs downgrading.

I tried to downgrade it as per the instructions using the S2 app but the S2 downgrade tool cannot seem to find the speaker even after factory resetting it multiple times. The S1 app can still find it and prompt me to downgrade. Is there anything that I’m doing wrong or is the Symfonisk Gen 2 not compatible with the S1 controller anymore?

Unfortunately, the Symfonisk Bookshelf Gen 2 is not compatible with S1

It seems that the Downgrade feature is erroneously offered by the app on devices that cannot be downgraded. Oops
