sub no light but receiving power

I have a sub that was paired with my Beam. I realised the sub was not working.

looking in rooms, it had “beam+?”. I removed the sub and attempted to add it again.

upon inspecting the sub when it came time to press the power button, I realised there was no light on the status indicator.

I tried the power cable from a Sonos speaker that was working and have run into the same issue. It would seem the sub cannot turn on for one reason or another.
