Spotify not connecting to Sonos

My Spotify playlists won't play through my Sonos Play:5 speaker. On the Spotify app on my phone, I select 'devices available', followed by the required speaker, it won't connect.
It used to work really well for months (got the Play:5 in June), but nothing since yesterday.
Connection is made fine from my daughter's phone to the same speaker. Any ideas why this might be? Desperate to hear music in the house again. Many thanks
