Sonos turntable connect not working

I have my record player connected into my Sonos system through my Play 5. It has always worked perfectly but one day just stopped having volume. When I am playing a record I have to crank it to full volume and I can barely hear it. When I connect the turntable to another speaker it works perfectly, and when I play music on the Play 5 from my phone it also works perfectly. It must be something about the connection between the two? I can’t seem to figure it out, any ideas would be appreciated.

Check your connections and the Source Level under the line-in settings in the Sonos app. Many turntables also have a Phono Out/Line Out switch. Be sure it is set to Line Out.
