Sonos slow to respond

Hi,
My Sonos system is comprised of a:
SUB
2x PLAY 1
PLAY 5 (older model)
And the bridge thing that controls it all.
The system had been slow to respond, and I am guessing it is something to do with my home network.
All speakers are connected wirelessly, apart from the white bridge which is wired to the ASUS router. I have 6 ZyXEL access points (which are wired to the router via a 32 port switch). I have a feeling it is something to do with the complexity of the setup. Would hardwiring all speakers help?
And help would be appreciated.
