Sonos Roam not working

I bought a Sonos roam last spring. It has never worked properly.  The battery would die quickly and it would always cut in and out.  The red light just stays on in the front and then when I take off charger the light goes away but nothing happens anymore.

As a guess, there are two issues. First, the charger you’re using is not supplying the appropriate amount of juice to charge it properly. See this FAQ.

 

Second, it sounds like you may not be fully powering down the Roam between use/charging sessions, but instead it is going in to sleep mode. See the FAQ and note that last paragraph.
