Sonos play 5 doesn’t work on wifi

Hi all, I have had my sonos play 5 for a year and a half, but for the last six months had it plugged into my TV via an Aux cable... I recently unplugged this to use it (as it should be used) and realised I can only connect to it when plugged in via an enternet cable... any ideas on how to get it back to the wireless way it’s suppised to be?

Submit a diagnostic (with the Play:5 wired by Ethernet), note the number and call Sonos Support. It sounds like the wireless module could have failed.

The generation doesn't matter, ratty's advice stands. Call Sonos after taking that diagnostic.
