Sonos Controllers having issues finding speakers and then finally do

My sonos controller apps on my macbook, iphone, ipad, etc have issues finding my speakers that are setup. After restarting the app a few times, Im finally able to find the speakers. Anyone else have this issue? Started as of recent.

These kinds of problems do seem to appear right after a Sonos update, and they’re linked, but not actually caused by Sonos.

Unplug all your Sonos devices from power.

Reboot your router.

When the router has come back up, plug your Sonos devices back in to the power.

Optional, but recommended: look in to setting up reserved IP addresses for your network devices, usually a quick check of the router’s manual helps. If your router has gotten in this state once, it is possible that it will again. Reserved IP addresses protects against that.
