Sonos Connect - WiFi & LAN Issue

Have 4 hardwired Sonos Connects, 1 hardwired Sonos Beam, 1 Sonos Sub - WiFi connected
Issue I have is the Sonos Connects appear to be connecting via WiFi to the Sonos Beam instead of the hardwired connections in the home
Should be 4 Sonos connects, 1 Sonos Beam connecting to the network via LAN connection, not WiFi
Sonos Sub is the only device that needs to connect to the WiFi network
How do we turn off WiFi connections for the Sonos Connects?

A bit more information, if you please. How do you know that the Connects aren't using their wired connections? The Network Matrix? Go to http://IP_address_of_a_player:1400/support/review and screenshot the matrix for us to peruse.

There is the option to disable the wireless in the Connects (via Advanced Room in room settings) but it would be useful to first understand just what's going on. If you're using managed switches kindly describe the arrangement.
