Sonos Connect suddenly disappeared from S2 app

I’ve had a Sonos Connect on my S2 app for about a year. Suddenly it has disappeared. I’ve tried the “find missing devices”, updating S2, plugging the connect into an Ethernet cable and updated the connect.  It functions correctly  on Ethernet, and it will go through the setup process on WiFi successfully but it never appears in my system on S2. Any ideas?  I have an ASUS mesh router

Perhaps see if this thread assists…

 

There have been some recent complaints about Asus router updates on the forum, so perhaps see if there has been a recent update and maybe roll-back to the earlier version of the firmware to see if that fixes the issue.
