SONOS CONNECT sound drop outs


I'm using the Sonos Connect in a cafe to send sound from a DJ mixer to the Play 5 setup. The sound intermittently drops out (shorts cuts mostly for around half a beat) and sometimes for a second or two. The Play 5 are setup on their own router and the Play 5 system works fine using just the Sonos App to stream music.
The issue is when using the Connect.

Any suggestions most welcome.

If streaming works try setting the Connect to use compressed sound mode.

If you are streaming FLAC or other high bandwidth formats something smaller might help.

You can always wait for the issue, submit a diagnostic and contact Sonos support (here is not best) from the contact page options for your country. Some are open 24x7.

Thanks Stanley, that could be it. I'll try on the weekend.
And also get the cafe logged into the app to try the diagnostic if it continues after compression test.
