Sonos Apps (iOS &Mac) keep disconnecting

Use a wired boost setup for two play 5s. Arris TG2472 router is wired to the first play 5 (gen1) which is wired to the second play 5 (gen1). They setup just fine but after a few minutes of use or when both the Mac and the iPhone have the controller open, both controllers get disconnected. And neither will reconnect, however the speakers will still be playing music.

We'd be happy to help. But we'll need a little more information about the issue. Do you have Wifi extenders? If yes, please make sure to have the controllers connect to the routers Wifi and not the extenders.
