Sonos 3 stereo pair not in sync

Two paired 3s in “mikes room” suddenly fell out of sync. Rebooted, re-added as a pair, fell out of sync again after a few minutes. Diagnostic sent, confirmation 1484709182

Hi there, mbruno808. Thanks for sharing your diagnostic report. It seems that your stereo pair in Mikes Room is connecting to your wireless network on separate wireless channels. Having a stereo pair connect to different wireless channels and different access points (AP's) can certainly cause some troubles. Is it possible to plug any one of your Sonos devices (doesn't have to be in Mikes Room) into the network using an Ethernet cable?

This will change how data is routed along to Sonos and should make the speakers speak directly to one another rather than having to route through the different AP's.
