setup Error 1101 with Satellite

I am trying to setup my playbar, sub, and two surrounds. Everything connects no problem until it says to check for updates. Then it just says try again over and over with the error 1101.

I have Viasat Satellite internet, with a nighthawk x10 router. I’ve tried rebooting etc, is there some sort of setting that could be blocking communication? Or is satellite (horrible latency and upload speeds) just incompatible with Sonos?

I used to have satellite so I know what you are facing, I'd schedule a call to Sonos support via an e-mail with as much detail as you can put in it so they are able to research things at their end before the call. Address is hidden on the contact page here.
