Running latest software but keeps wanting me to update

I am running latest 7.3 software but every time I open sonos app on my iPhone it sends me to app store to check for updates where the only option I'm given is to then open the app .. It's time consuming and frustrating so hope someone can advise. Thank you.

Try removing the app and reinstalling from the app store.

I’ve tried resetting the controller, removing and reinstalling the app, reinstalling the sonos speaker...still not working. Keeps asking me to update before being able to add another speaker. Help!

Folks, there's a firmware update pending. In the Sonos app tap on 'Settings --> System Updates --> Check for Updates'.

When we do that we are told to update the app, which we do and then the same issue occurs
The Sonos servers may working to capacity, wait about an hour, then try again to update.
