Problems with disconnecting right speaker in stereo pair

I have had and loved my Sonos One pair for more than 2 years now, but They’ve developed a problem over the last day. When I AirPlay to the pair, the right speaker quits playing music. When I disconnect AirPlay and play music through the Sonos app, the behavior persists. This appears to be semi-permanent, as the only way to fix it is to unpair the speakers and repair them. I use AirPlay on a regular basis, and it would be a shame to lose this functionality. Any help would be appreciated.
(Side note: the left speaker is a Gen 2 Sonos One, and is the only speaker that plays. The right speaker is an original Gen 1 Sonos One)

Try rebooting your router and unplugging your Ones from power for about a minute.
