Problem with album art

I just got an AMP.  With some albums the album art isn’t showing.
I double checked and the art work is less than 800x800.
The artwork was saved as both AlbumArt.jpg and Folder.jpg.
The artwork is stored in the meda data.
The artwork does show when playing back the song.

Odd but not surprising.

I use MP3tag to embed Album are into each of my tracks(does not work on WAV files). This works flawlessly across Sonos and every other device I use.  I’ve got some pretty big artwork in there too which looks great on the bigger iPad screens.

Sound like you have both embedded artwork and folder.jpg. Whilst not free there is a great program called Bliss which will fix any artwork issues. Large artwork can be slow to load so personally stick to 600x600 resolution with a data size of 600kb - probably could go larger on the resolution.

You can do it for free but automated is so much easier… always work on a copy of your music library to test.
