Playbar froze up

Hello, my playbar just froze up out of nowhere when we started a movie on Netflix. Ever since it just has a solid white light and when we tried to reset it back up it doesn’t respond, have tried unplugging and holding the pause button, nothing changes. Have only had it since December 2018. What do I do?

Ok, holding the pause button while unplugging it would do a factory reset, so you’ll need to set it up again as if it just came out of the box.

Once you’ve done that, go into your TV’s settings and lock the audio to Dolby Digital. Then go in to the audio settings for Netflix, and lock them down to Dolby Digital as well. Your Netflix was likely sending something like Dolby Digital Plus, or DTS through the TV, which Sonos can’t interpret.

And the next time you run into an issue, please don’t try a factory reset unless asked for by a Sonos employee. It rarely helps, and erases any information that Sonos Support might use to assist you. 99.9% of the time, it’s unnecessary.
