Play 5 touchpad not responding

I just purchased the play 5 a day ago. I love the sound, setup was easy. I'm having an issue with the touchpad buttons on the unit. Works fine for a bit, then after a certain time all three buttons stop responding to touch completely. Have to unplug unit then works again for a little while then stops responding. Anyone heard about this?

It sounds like it could have a hardware fault. You should phone Sonos Support.
That's exactly what I will do. Thank you, wanted to see if this was a know issue.
No. In fact there has been no pattern of reports concerning PLAY:5 Gen2. If your touchpad proves to be faulty it would be an isolated occurrence.
Just confirmed with Sonos tech support, in fact the unit seems to be defective. Will swap unit at store.
