Play 5 not configuring.

Going through the naming and linking process on Sonos 1.  Play 5 will not configure.

Hi @melts, Thank you for reaching out and welcome to the community. Regarding your concern, I'll be asking some questions to further assist with this issue.

  • Is this the first-time setup of your Sonos products?
  • What is the color of the lights on the Sonos speakers?
  • Are you using the Sonos S1 or S2 App?
  • What error message are you getting throughout the setup?
  • Have you tried another controller device where you have the Sonos App for the setup?
  • What is the make and model of the modem and router that you're using? (to check for any known issue for the specific model)

  1. Are you using range extenders or access points?
  2. Is your network a conventional router & modem or Mesh?
