Play 5 First Gen Disappeared from S1 app

My first gen Play 5 no longer appears in the S1 app.  This happened after the 11.2.1 update.  Is Sonos secretly trying to persuade us to leave our old (perfectly good) equipment behind???

Hi @tmadel, thanks for reaching out. I know that you wanna keep on working with your Play:5 and we’re here to help. Can you please help us check the status light of your speaker? If it has a solid white light, can you try to do a button press by pressing the PlayPauseButton-Filled-28px.png Play/Pause button, check if it will respond? Do you have other Sonos products? Maybe you can try if you can submit a diagnostic using this link and reply to us with the confirmation number. Let us know how it goes.
