Summary
I have a SONOS Play 1 on my system that has a damaged wifi. The speaker works fine when connected to another SONOS device (with an ethernet cable). I currently have it plugged into a SONOS amp and it is great. But it does not work at all when on wifi. Is it possible to replace the wifi card in the speaker? Is this something I can do? I really need to be able to use this speaker on wifi. It does not work if I plug it directly into the router. Only when into another SONOS device. I use the MESH wifi.

Sonos doesn't encourage self repair, nor do they have authorized repair facilities. Your best bet, which you've already taken the first step on by submitting that diagnostic, is to contact Sonos Support to discuss it. I suggest the phone folks, they have more tools available because they're on the phone with you, but they are only available Monday through Friday during business hours. Both the Twitter and Facebook support folks are available 24/7.
