Play:1’s not working with playbar/sub when watching TV

Cannot get play:1’s to work while watching TV. Work fine when using Spotify. Set as L and R. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hello there, kevin.mccammack. Thanks for posting and welcome to the Community. Based on the diagnostic report you have submitted, the content you were watching was getting to the PLAYBAR in Stereo format. This means that the surrounds would not be getting any signal in the first place. I would recommend testing this with a movie or other content that you know is in 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround. Additionally, you can turn up the volume of the surrounds when watching TV. Check out this article that shares what to do when there is quiet or no sound coming from your surrounds.
