Play 1 not connecting

I have two play ones, one play 5 and a sound bar. One of the play 1 which is the older of the 2 will not connect. I have it close to wireless router, i have tried to reset, and factory reset. Nothing works. I have a steady white light on top which indicates its been connected before.

What happens if you string an ethernet cable from the router to the Play:1?
nothing. does not show up in app nor does the speaker reset. White light is still steady
Sounds like a potential hardware issue, if it doesn't show up when strung with a cable. I'd recommend giving their Customer Support line a call, you can find the number and hours for your local group at
