persistent wifi connection issues

Hi, just recently, my sonos play 1 persistently loses connection to the app when on wifi. It works ok when wired.

There have been no changes to my Wi-Fi.

I don't want to have to keep removing from the Wi-Fi network and resetting everything each time.


Any ideas? Am getting frustrated with it.

I’d be reviewing the wifi interference FAQ for potential fixes. I’d also be tempted to refresh the Sonos connection by unplugging all Sonos devices, then rebooting the router. When the router comes back up, plug the Sonos devices back in to power. 

However, if neither of those work, I would recommend that you submit a system diagnostic within 10 minutes of experiencing this problem, and call Sonos Support to discuss it.

When you talk to the phone folks, there are more options available. They are available Monday through Friday during business hours.

There may be information included in the diagnostic that will help Sonos pinpoint the issue and help you find a solution.
