I have a flat at work. Sonos 5. Scholl building. Nor oruter access. I plug in my laptop through the headphone jack. Play spotify, play on the Sonos, Rapid orange flash and nothing… What can I do?

I’ve never tried it myself, but can you set your mobile phone up as a wifi hotspot (easy on any Android based phone) and use that for its network connection?
Fundamentally these are networked devices, so it’s understandable that they won’t boot properly unless they can see a network?
