No audio signal going to wired sub using Sonos Connext, optical, to Denon AVR h1500x.

Hook the sub to one of the two mono Pre-Out Sub ports, top or bottom doesn't matter, looking at it from the back that would be the 5th jack pair from the left side.

If that gets you no sound or activity then move the sub RCA to one of the non-sub Pre-out ports (you may need to adjust the volume up a bit) and see if it goes active, if it doesn't hook a set of headphones to the tape-out and make sure there is sound present there.

If it doesn't go active with sound present on the tape out ports it likely you have an issue with the sub setup in the Denon. Grab the manual and sit down with it and try to work through the setup. If that Denon offers a web interface it is usually a lot easier to use than the on device display, even the TV out option beats that.

Just wanted to add some detail for anyone trying to help. I have a a wired Polk Audio active subwoofer off of the left sub-channel on a Denon AVR h1500x with the Sonos Connext on the optical input for media 2.
I can get sound out of the other 5 speakers, but I can’t get output to the sub. It never leaves standby mode or when turned on there is no sound from it.
Not sure where to go from here.
