When bought, the system was in wireless mode - Play One started cutting out.
Wired one of my other speakers to the router - Play One still cutting out.
Bought Boost unit and set up system in boost mode - Play One cutting out again.
I have read on the forum that static IP addresses are a good idea - is it?
I wonder how much more money I have to spend to get this system to be stable?
We even sold our rock solid Bose Soundtouch 20 which the Play One replaced. Wife not happy now.
Any ideas appreciated.

OK. It was a bit of a rant, but with all the money I have spent, plus an unhappy wife, I needed to get this off of my chest.
I thought somebody (Sonos even?) would pipe in regarding the merits of setting static IP addresses!
I have reset all the devices a few time now, and it has been fairly stable for about a week now. Alexa still likes to take her time trying to find the radio stations we ask for, but gets there in the end.
