Netflix on line in Play 5 sounds like a swarm of bugs with no sound.

First sound would cut in and out for months. Now line in to play 5 doesn't work at all. Seems to only happen with netflix. But it sounds like bugs flapping or like white noise. No other sound comes through. I've gone through all of the possible settings in the app. Nothing helps. I've never had so many problems with a system. 😕

Hi, Angrybear. What might be an idea is to try a replacement AUX cable, or to try wiring an alternative device to the line-in port on your Sonos device. This will at least pinpoint whether or not the PLAY:5 itself is indeed the culprit. Supposing this does not provide any benefit, it would be best to attempt a factory reset on the device.

Note: A factory reset is not recommended for the majority of issues and should only be done when advised by a Sonos customer care representative.
