Hi,

How to get rid of the red ones? Especially Sonos Badkamer is dropping music quite a lot. Though only from a thin wall separated from my Unifi Access Point. Thanks

I’m not too familiar with your network setup, but If using a unifi system, then these settings have been suggested in other posts here on the forum …

  • Log into the UniFi controller.
  • In the Settings tab, click Wireless Networks.
  • Click Edit next to the network SSID.
  • Expand Advanced Options.
  • Uncheck Block LAN to WLAN Multicast and Broadcast Data.
  • In the Settings tab, click Sites.
  • Disable Auto-Optimize Network.

Please also enable IGMP Snooping (which is on the Networks settings page).

The Sonos network matrix display is mostly only useful when actually running your devices on a wired SonosNet connection, instead of your WiFi signal.

Hi,

Thanks for this. IGMP Snooping was disabled, other were already like this. So lets see if this helps.

Thanks

The two red labels are describing WiFi interference around those Sonos devices.

If they are placed close to other wireless products, try to increase the distance between them, then run the matrix again to see if the interference has reduced. Interference can be intermittent with no obvious cause.

Have a look at this link on how to Reduce wireless interference

Newer Sonos devices no longer display the noise levels/interference in the network matrix, but if they are also dropping music, the same principle applies to them too.
