Lost speaker

Changed from DSL to cable modem & all of my equipment is good to go except a Sonos 5 speaker that won't connect. Attempted all the help on line & still no results. Please advise!

Hi herbhernandez,

Do you have other speakers on your Sonos system? If not it may help to temporarily wire in your PLAY:5 to your router with an ethernet cable. This should help get you connected with the app. Once connected you can go into the Sonos app's settings menu, choose advanced settings and go through the wireless setup.

If you have other Sonos units but can't connect your PLAY:5 please send in a diagnostic report and reply with the confirmation number.
