Keeps losing connection Play 3

Just brought a play 3 great speaker but having constant connections issues weather it be android ios or windows app up to the point its not fit for purpose...... I'm using wifi BT smart hub I've disabled 5ghz .....changed to channel 11 nothing works or it does for 5 minutes then nothing to be honest i fill like throwing it out...... very disappointed ........ at least bluetooth works...... is there anything else i can do before giving up.....
