issues with the App

I am having intermittent issues trying to control my Sonos move from the App. I am sat no more than 2 foot away from the speaker and 10 foot away from the WiFi router but when I open the app it isn’t connecting or letting me see my system that I have set up. I know it’s not the WiFi cause the move is still playing music and my phone is connected too. Any others had issues with this or know how to fix this?

In order to understand the issue, we would need to know your network setup.

What’s the model of the router and other network devices; as well as how they’re connected.

Also, please take a diagnostic of the system. so we can take a closer look.

The distance between your device and the speaker is not relevant: they do not communicate directly. Your device connects to your router (via WiFi), your router connects to the speaker via Ethernet, Wifi, or SonosNet depending on configuration.
