I am playing music from iTunes on my Mac thru 2 Sonos speakers that are wirelessly connected to the same router that my Mac is using. There is nothing in this arrangements coming in off the internet. The router is connect to the internet but not using it for this setup]. Yet, periodically, I'll get a few seconds gap in the sound out of the speakers. There are no error messages.  If the music was coming off the internet, I could say it was over demand on the internet but since it is not...

Any ideas???

Are you streaming music from iTunes over AirPlay or playing music from the library stored on your Mac through the Sonos MacOS app?

Airplay.

Sonos MacOS app??? I can find an app to put the controls on the menu bar and a controller for setting up a new system.  Where can I find the app to which you refer?

Thanks
