It’s like I have two alpha speakers - 5 (Kitchen) and Roam (Bathroom).Trying to group one with the other each way results in a group with no sound on the “grouped” speaker. When I group either or both from a pair of 1s (Living Room), a single 1 (Office), or a Playbase (Bedroom), I have no issue with audio in the pairing. When I pair either 5 (Kitchen) or Roam (Bathroom) from these three compliant speakers there’s no issue.Not sure when this started but I’m blaming the Lo Pocos Hermanos man since I activated Sonos Voice recently. Any ideas?
I have the Sonos arc working great for both music and tv. The Sonos one sls play through music in surround just fine, but I can’t seem to get tv sound to play to speakers, it only comes through soundbar. I have tried to add them as surround. any advice or tips?
Hi,I have troubles with my 2 One SL + tablet using Sonos connected with my Spotify account… Intermittently, the sound is off (but the song continue) and the system change the song to the next. My tablet shows me that Wifi signal is not good enough. The distance between the tablet and the router is 4 meters... My system worked well during many months without any troubles with the same hardware and internet connection. Do you have a solution? I tried to separate 2.4GHZ Wifi signal and 5GHZ to avoid changes without success. Thanks in advance

Sonos speaker volume increases randomly during song and songs will start from the beginning after midway. It seems to only do it on our Pandora account. SiriusXM and Spotify accounts don’t encounter this issue. We use many Ones (Gen 2) that are all connected to ethernet. Does anyone know what the issue might be? I use my Sonos One to play mp3, wav, wma tracks ripped to the C: on my laptop. For some reason, many of the tracks display incorrect artwork when playing. For example I am looking at Karen and Richard Carpenter whilst listening to Mark Knopfler.Any suggestions please?Thanks,PeeWee
For years I have had issues with larger playlists, between 2500 and under 10000 songs and still have not had any solutions from Sonos support. This became a problem after an update years ago and never was fixed. Fast forward to now, and using the latest equipment like the Move, the system still chokes when trying to load an Apple Music playlist. When trying to play the playlist, I usually receive a 1002 error. Sometimes after a couple minutes, the music becomes available. When trying to add the playlist to a Sonos playlist, I get another error of unable to add music. The answers I get from support have always been ridiculous: reboot, reconnect, disconnect, it’s your network’s fault….blah blah blah. But I have some very complex and demanding media systems running on my network, and they all work fine. The only thing that chokes, EVER, is Sonos. Will they ever resolver this issue?
HiI feel like there is an issue with the app, I have Ones with Alexa, and if I go away for a day or so, and I come back and try to use the Sonos app it says it’s unable to find my devices on the network. However they are on the network, there are no issues with my network, if I give the speakers an Alexa command they respond as expected even though the Sonos app doesn’t find them. The only way to get them to function with the app again is to unplug them and plug them back in again then everything functions until they sit for awhile, which is getting to be a pain. Thanks
HelloI just bought an ARC bar to replace my playbar, I gave my playbar to my daughterShe has my playbar and a sonos moveThe playbar is connected to a tv samsung via the optical interfaceWe have set the remote tv to control the sound of the playbar, we did that using the mobile phone of my daughter (it is an Android)now the problem: his husband is watching tv, my daughter is at work and watching youtube, or tiktok and when my daughter increase or decrease the sound on her mobile phone, from the youtube ot tiktok application, the sound on the playbar is changing also, but not on the movevery strange ?? I don’t see the problem, on my installation it is working finecalling sonos support, they don’t know, reinstall the application or send data to sonos…thanks for any helpRegards
One of my speakers (play5) makes a shhh sound on the right side. This speaker has rarely been used. A few months ago I noticed it had this shhh sound on one side of the speaker. The sound starts about 5 min into playing the music and stops about 5 min after the music stops. I tried moving it around the house and it is the same at all locations. None of the other identical speakers have this issue. Do you know what is causing this issue and can it be corrected?
I have a Playbar and One that are paired together. However, from time-to-time, the Playbar will just stop playing music (even when it says it’s on and paired with the One) while the One works fine perfectly fine. I know the Playbar is a Gen 1 and One is a Gen 2, but I’m not sure why the Playbar would just stop playing music. Sometimes the Playbar will be on and recognized on the Sonos app, but it just won’t play music from the get go. Other times the Playbar won’t even be recognized when I turn music on. When either of these issues pop up, I have to unplug the Playbar and plug it back in for it to start working. Anyone else experiencing these issues?
I have a Playbar with Sub and two Ones as 5.1 on TV. Until recently, when I finished watching TV, the Sonos would revert to my last listened TuneIn or other Favourite after maybe fifteen minutes. Scenario: TV off - go to bed - get up - press a pause button and there should be radio. Now there isn’t. If I open the app, it is still connected to the TV (optical). I have to browse and pick the radio station. OK, this is not a reason to go crazy but it is a new unwanted behaviour. It still swaps to TV if I turn that on while another source is playing.I can not say whether this started with the latest update but it is a very recent manifestation.Has anyone else had this? Is there a fix?I did do searches before posting here. Please don’t mutter if I missed something somewhere else.
I have a strange one and i have searched for this issue and see loads of folk have had this before however my issue is weird.So we have been using Sonos (ARC,sub and 4 sonos one) for 2 months and everything is awesome.Last night we were listening to spotify and suddenly everything goes quiet.I check my sonos app (where i had triggered spotify from) and was told it had lost connection.I went through all the usual fixes, router reboot, dhcp refres, sonos reboots and nothing fixed it.I noticed i could play from Spotify though by selecting a speaker. What i also noticed is that volume was really low when all speakers were selected but if i started with the lounge and added speakers back it was fine.Then i went back once i had triggered play from spotify and i could again trigger it from sonos.I thought this was fixed.However tonight i have the same issue. Got it working in the same manner but this is a pain in the arse and not why i dropped the cash on this setup.Can anyone help?I have sub
I currently have the 5.1 setup with a playbase and am having issues with audio from my Play 1s. The audio skips every few seconds or so for everything (spotify, video games, regular TV, streaming).I have an ethernet cable plugged into the base and have the others connected via wifi. I have read through a few posts about remedying my issue but none have worked. I tried:Hard reset all speakersUnplug speakers and router then reconnectUnplugging eternity cable and restarting router then reconnecting ethernetIs there is anything else I can try?
I have a stereo pair of Sonos 1s in my kitchen. Tonight, they weren’t showing on the Sonos App and they failed to connect via Airplay. Alexa was working, so must have been internet connected. I’ve twice reset them and reconnect them ( Amber/White flashing, Green… discovered…. setup… rebooted ) and they’re not appearing. On Airplay, they are ‘unknown room’ but cannot connect What else can I try ? thanks
Hi I have set up a split S1 & S2 Sonos instance , and have my old incompatible play 5 only on the S1 app however there appears to be a problem adding another controller app …… from an extra device you cannot seem to detect the speaker on the second app …… it worked fine until a couple of weeks ago but i dont seem to be able to get it working now …..any clues ???
Hi all, It seems my SONOS soundbar is continually adjusting when I have an electric fan on near it. It also seems to do this when many people are in the house. It’s as if it’s auto-adjusting it’s output to my Sony Bravia. This means that sometimes even at 0 volume it can still be heard. I continue pressing down on the volume and it seems to reset itself. Any ideas?
Hi,I have an issue with my alram. My alarm is set up to turn itself on every morning on Sonos in my bedroom only and works as it should every morning. That is not the problem. The problem arises when my girlfried turns off the music on our downstair speaker (Beam) on her Sonos app before going to bed. The next morning, the alarm turns itself on in the bedroom as expected but the downstair speaker starts playing the music (Spotify) we were listening too last night. it plays the same song we were listening too the day before. Do you have any idea to stop this bug?
Hi, I have noticed drop out through Spotify recently and now i cannot connect to the speakers via the sonos app, although they still appear in the spotify app and can play music through them.No changes on wifi apart from adding a powerline extender to improve wifi in living room for sky tv box and smart tv.
My sinus connect will not switch in. It is not power as I have connected the power lead to another connect box and that works fine. no white light on connect boxthis is the second connect box that has given me trouble. many suggestions on cause/ solution. I have tried the reboot etc per the sinus help guidesthanksalan
