Hi, I was recently bought a Nest WiFi, until I connected the system my Arc work excellent. Now I trying to make the same with the Nest and the Sonos don’t open the temporary WiFi during the setup. I was also tried connected with wired to the Nest and I saw the device but can configure it. I was tried to connect connect to the Sonos account from add device in the google home app but it’s saying there no option to was it in my country. please your help
Hello,so I’m currently developing a music service and testing it via customsd. The integration in the controller app is working (iOS App & Windows Desktop App) - so I can browse - but I can’t get a Player to play any track. I keep receiving ‘unable to connect’ errors once I hit the ‘Play’ button in the controller. I can see on the service side that the Player sends a getMetadata and a getMediaURI request, and the SOAP responses delivered by the service are identical to working examples from another source; however, the Player seems unable to process them. I am kind of stuck, and I guess what would help me are the Player logs. Is there any way to get them? Any feedback is highly welcome! Many thanks in advance, and kind regards,Florian
My Symfonisk speaker was working fine until a few months ago. Then it started to not being visible from the app (or being seen over AirPlay2). Only after force killing and restarting the app a few times the unit would wake up and become visible. Now this is not happening anymore, so I decided to reset and reconfigure the unit. The app finds the unit and seems to start configuration (sound is playing) but after a while it says that it lost connection, to power down and then on again the Symfonisk unit. Went through the process many times but always same results. Things already tried based on other posts found in the community: moved speaker closer to the router connected speaker to router via ethernet cable deleted and reinstalled app on my iPhoneDoes anyone have an idea of how to solve this problem?

Hi,I’ve noticed this problem on certain Netflix shows and it seems related to Dolby (Atmos). I know I can’t get Atmos to the Playbar due to its optical connection and I’m perfectly happy with the sound other than this subtle, but annoying, issue. Any suggestions?
HelloI've set up my two play:5 gen2 in a stereo pair with line-in to my TV. I've had this setup for several years without issues. I later added a sub for niceness. Since I moved into my new two-story house I've experienced drop outs from the speaker that does not have the line-in cable (Left), at an increasing rate.It's now at the point where the left speaker is more off than on.At one point in time I lost connection to both speakers and wired the speaker with the line-in cable (Right), which got the connection back, but the drop outs kept appearing.In the network matrix I notice that the Right speaker does not contain the left one, but the left one does include the right. I have two more speakers, but I've disconnected these when I tried to identify if they caused an issue. It didn't change anything to power off all other speakers than the stereo group. I'm my network at home is set up by my isp with two mesh "boxes". One on each floor. I've had to wire my speaker to the top one, even
I’m in a rented house for a month and am trying to play my apple music on the sonos system that is here. I can play their music fine. When i try to add a music service it asks me to enter the account information (id/pw)for the owner’s account. I try to login with my sonos id/pw and it comes back and says the email/pw do not match Sonos’s records. I can log on the sonos website with that id/pw fine. Is there anything else I can try? thx George
Hi, I have aquired a Used Sonos ZP80 and added to my S1 system, after it added it showed update available but when I try to update it states the App needs updating but My S1 app is up to date.Now even if I power off the ZP80 it states my app needs updating every time I try to add a device. My app version is 11.2.9 Build 57688280My other working ZP80 is Version 11.2.9 Build 57688280.the newly added ZP80 is version 9.3 Build 47259120. I have used 2 ZP100s and another ZP80 to add bought from the same person. Any advice much appreciated.Mark
I have a Visio smart TV with a Beam attached. All works fine … except that after any power outage (utility induced or me just pulling the plug) and power coming back on … the Sonos speaker switches the TV on. Something of an issue when no-one is home, possibly for an extended period. Connection is via ARC. Workarounds are obvious but is this the expected behavior? If not, which settings are causing this? Ok, here is a weird one, I’ll lay it out as simply as I can, moved into a new house:Router is at the front of the house. 2 x Play 1 in a Stereo pair (Bedroom, upstairs) 1 x Playbar (Lounge, downstairs) 1 x Play 1 (Summer house, at the far end of the garden at the back of the house). All speakers connected via wifi, nothing wired in.The bedroom pair and the lounge playbar are within the strong wifi signal zone.The summer house speaker is riiiiiiight at the furthest point of the wifi, right where the signal is about to drop off and sits at ‘poor’. Sometimes it does drop off completely, thats how far away it is from the router.Now, the system used to work fine but in the last couple of weeks (since I updated the app), performance has been tricky. Essentially the app can’t find the system at all - but only if I open the app in the house where the wifi is strongest. If I open the app in the summer house, ie right on the cusp of having no wifi, I have zero issues. The app finds the whole sy
Hi All, In the process of moving house and packing bit by bit and I have come across an issue with my Sony TV (KD-49XE9005). I have a Sonos Beam that produced the sound for it and after having packed the Sonos away my TV won’t switch on, via remote or buttons on the TV and I have tried a 5 second power button reset - nothing. The TV worked just prior the unplugging and everything else is as it was previously which is just the power. The Beam was connected via the ARC. I've tried plugging the Beam back in as well as changing the fuse in my power socket and still nothing. Anybody have any other ideas or know what the problem is? Any help appreciated. Thanks
I have the black subwoofer that has the single button on the front. When I plug it in no lights or anything appears on the front. I have tried another power cord, tried holding the button on the front and plugging it in. Nothing works. 1k for a few years… do you have any ideas?
Hi,I’ve encountered a strange problem since I switched to the S2 controller.I have a folder with audio books for my kids. All the books have meta data with track number, artist, album artist, album, genre and year. In the old S1 controller everything was fine and dandy.Now 3 of the books are causing problems:1 book doesn’t show the entire album name, just a small part of it. 2 books doens’t show all tracks and some of them are mixed up. In the S2 controller they are even listed as track 1 a couple of times, track 2 a couple of times etc. It’s only with these two books I’ve encountered this problem.I’ve checked the meta data with a couple of different apps and programs and they all check out correctly.Again, in the old S1 controller everything worked perfectly. Hi, I have some Sonos Play:1. One in the kitchen and another (two in stereo mode) in the living room. When I play or pause in kitchen, the living room starts playing or pause too, but they aren’t grouped. In this case each room with its own music using Spotify.The opposite does not happen, the living room players do not interfere in kitchen player. It seems a bug. How can I fix this?
I recently moved, so I’m setting up my system again. However, I’m having a strange issue. I have 8 speakers (9 but one setup is stereo Sonos Ones), all latest generation. The main difference between this new system and my old system is that all the speakers are WiFi until I can get some wires around the house. My old house had several speakers wired (not with SonosNet).I’m having two issues. First, sometimes one controller won’t see all the speakers. For example, my computer right now only sees 5/8 speakers, but my phone and iPad sees all. Come back an hour later, and things will change. This setup was an absolute rock for years prior (I’ve been using Sonos since the the year of their founding). I’ve toyed with STP, RSTP, rebooting switches, reboot routers, rebooting EVERYTHING, reseting speakers, etc. Nothing seems to impact that over time controllers lose speakers and then find them again.The second issue is that I can’t reliably join. For example, I have speaker Family Room and anot
TuneIn will not connect to certain stations at certain times although I can connect to others stations without problems. In this case, these are the stations of Radio-Canada called ICI Musique and ICI Première. I listened to one of them (ICI Musique Montréal) around 12:00 today without problems. When I tried to resume listening 2 hours later, the “Tune In” jingle keeps repeating forever. I tried other ICI Musique stations directly from the TuneIn list but they all do the same. I get this problems regularly (every 2-3 days) and it has been like this for several months but it seems worse to the moment. If I listen to other stations or the music library for a while and come back, it might work again. I hope someone know how to fix this.
We have a Beam setup for the TV. We bought a Sonos One (let's call this One A) also for the same room to create a ‘room’ but the One kept dropping off the network. I found a way of joining the two for listening to music but not really surround sound. We then found out to create stereo properly you need two of the same device. We bought another Sonos One (this is One and have successfully connected Sonos One B to the app and system but now One A won’t connect at all. I’ve reset it and gone through the setup and it comes to a screen on my phone that says it's added but may not feature in the system so should unplug and replug it in, but it doesn’t appear after that either.What should we do?
Dear Support, I am facing an issue with Sonos. We have installed new WD My cloud HDD. The issue is that when we share the music from NAS with Sonos its showing an error which is “ Sonos was unable to share the Music folder. I have also follow the all steps which are enclosed in the link.
I recently helped a friend setup a Roam, 2 Sonos One’s and a Move. When we group and want to change the volume for an individual speaker it changes the volume for two of the 4 speakers. For example when I change the volume for the Roam the volume changes for the Roam as well as one of the One speakers. There are no pairs setup. Only happens when in a group. Please note I am aware of group volume and can individually change the volume for each room separately but when I do two rooms volume changes.
I have two playbars (amongst other units) that both show up in Sonos app that work fine. However, when I log into my account on Sonos.com only one of them show up. All of my other equipment, Move, Roam, Amp x 2, Connect x 2, Sub, and Boost all show up. Anyone know why my 2nd Playbar doesn’t and how to get it to appear?
Hi allSince about a year prior to JAN 2020 I am using:sonos beam 12.2.22x symfonusk satellites 12.2.2Sony KD75XF7596 For some reason now the system is only now and then activating the surround speakers. it used to play everything even ”false” surround from old movies or youtube, recently i tried the tv settings (audio options on remite) which helped and activated but now it is no longer working with everything. Only when a new movie or source it is active it is soo frustrating that my gear just gets disabled due to an app update.. anybody has any idea? bestTom
