I have sound drop out for a breif moment every minute or so, sometimes longer. Only happens when watching Netflix via my Samsung tv app. Other streaming apps like Neon and vimeo seem to work fine. Normal tv and spotify aslo work fine. I only have a playbar and the optical cable is not kinked. I have a DLink 890l router and all other devices set to have stable connections. Seems like the issue may be with the Netflix app but wondering if there is a fix for this. Diagnostic number is 7890664
If I plug my Play 5 speaker into my router and use BOOST mode, can I turn off the WiFi signal from the speaker and just rely on the wired signal (via ethernet cable) from my router ? I am trying to minimise the exposure of my very young children to the WiFi signals/energy
We moved house, our wireless router changed. I followed the steps to change to new settings - i,e, connect to router using cable, go to advance settings and wireless setup, entered new wireless password, and it told me all's good and I can disconnect. However, the new wireless network still does not connect. Not sure what's going on. I've submitted support diagnostics, confirmation number is 7892128.
I recently updated my library on my Mac Mini and since then I have not been able to find any of my local music on my iPhone. I can still play music from my iPhone, but I can't play music from my Mac Mini. However, I can open the Sonos app on my Mac Mini and play music to any Sonos in my house. Complicating things, I upgraded to iOS11. Not sure if that's a factor. I have tried renaming my shares, rebooting... anything I can think of that is a typical solution to resync. HELP!!!
I have recently purchased a sound bar for my downstairs living room and am having some issues with the sound. I have set everything up as per the instrcutions and when I point my sky remote at the sound bar it works perfectly. The issue I have is when my sound Bar is mounted behind my tv so when pointing the remote at the tv to adjust volume my Samsung TV just displays a small logo I believe represent an optical cable. Can anyone advise on how I can adjust the volume with the sky remote via the TV please????
Hi there, I've been using Sonos for six years, but earlier this year i moved from a PC to a Macbook... and now i'm having issues accessing my Music Library. When i try to connect to the external hard drive where my library is stored, i receive the error message 'Shared Folder Not Added", then 'The shared folder on this drive can't be added, because it's formatted using an unsupported file system. In this version of OS X, Sonos can only share folders on external drives using the HFS+ file system.'. I'm wondering what the best method of converting these files to HFS+ is, while ensuring that i can still access the files using iTunes. Jeff
I'm having problems connecting with my Sonos system. I live in a large old house with thick walls and to save having large wi-fi blackspots I have had to install a set of TP Link Powerline (TL-WPA4220TKIT). I realise that this might be thenaffecting the connection with Sonos. I have been having error 1002 and 'Unable to Connect to' errors. I was after some advice or technical help to assist me.
Hey, I have three Sonos and for reasons that are unknown to me, sometimes the two drop off and then come on and then drop off again. This continues to happen for a few days and then it stops. Also, when only one of the Sonos speakers play the volume tends to adjust up or down. To date, I have tried a few things up to and including changing the WiFi channel and getting them re-registered on the network but nothing seems to be working. Any help on this would be appreciated.

I can't figure this out, when I use my Logitech mouse with my MacMini 10.12.6 it moves very erratically. When I close the app, the mouse movement returns to normal. I have the latest Logitech software installed so very confused why it does it.
When my family room is grouped with my kitchen and I switch from watching live TV to DVR or OnDemand Xfinity programing, the sound stops completely. Only after ungrouping the rooms and unplugging and plugging back in the Playbar does the sound start working again for the Family Room. Diagnostics: 7899630 Setup: Family Room: Playbar (digital optical to TV), Sub, 2 - Play:1 Kitchen: 2 - Play:1 Boost
I am trying to use Spotify Connect from my iOS device (iPhone) to play music through my sonos system. It used to work but I think ever since the latest update it just skips through each song saying file can not be found. If I use the Spotify service through the Sonos app it does work though. I have submitted a diagnostic here 7902419.
I recently bought a second play1 speaker and after I connected it, the Sonos controller began forgetting either it or the original speaker. I have tried re-setting up the speakers separately numerous times but the controller forgets one or the other after about a day. Diagnostic report 7902961
Im pretty sure that I have read all the guides and forum topics regarding this matter, and I also have followed the different instructions to enable my OLED LG TV remote to control my SONOS playbar sound system and it simply fails. The big problem in my case is that when working the playbar configuration within the LG device connector app is that I DONT have the option to select a manufacturer or type of remote, so Im basically stuck in the part of the process. I use to have the sound bar working with another magic remote control but with this one is impossible and sadly the older magic remote control does not control my new OLED TV. Any help is highly appreciated.
We are trying to get a Playbase to work with a new LG OLED TV but it has been a massive pain. We would like to use the Spectrum (Time Warner) remote control. However, the Sonos programming won't enable use of the volume up/down buttons by just holding them down. We have to tap for every slight increment of increase/decrease which just doesn't work. We love Sonos but this Playbase may have been an expensive mistake. Looking for some help. Thanks!
I set up my Mum with a Samsung MU7000 TV and a Playbase. Weirdly, the TV keeps reverting to have VERY quiet audio via Optical, but quite loud via the TV Speaker. If she plays music through the Playbase and Sonos app, the Playbase itself gets quiet loud. I can't figure out what's going on - there doesn't seem to be any particular setting on the Samsung TV to control Optical Audio loudness.
