I'm having some strange effects seemingly caused by a LIFX wifi light bulb that when conected to my network (bulb doesn't need to be switched on) causes my Play 3 and Play 5 speakers to be activated if I've got the alrm enabled. Turning the alarms off makes the problem go away as indeed disconnecting the light bulb from the network does too. Anybody else got these two items of equipment working on their network?
I am constantly loosing connection or at least the possibility to choose one or more of my speakers. I am using a bridge with wire connection to a data port. I also got a wifi that I use for my phone and pad.. How can i fix the problem of constantly loosing connection to my sonos speakers?
CDs I copied into iTunes will not play on Sonos. Access denied. Under Get Info there is no selection for "kind" to see format. These albums play fr Macbook, iPad, iPhone and blue tooth speakers. I assume apple converted all my cds to mps's. So why is access denied to most f my music library
Hi, I tried searching online but could not find anyone that's had this problem. I've had my Sonos 5 for years and never had any problem. However, all of a sudden today, my Sonos is playing this one favourite station of mine and no matter what I do, it won't stop playing, When I try stopping or changing the station on my Sonos app, it'll stop playing momentarily but then revert back playing back to the same station. I tried restarting the Sonos app, unplugged the speaker, etc. but so far nothing is working. If anyone could help me here, I'd be very greatful! The only interim solution I have will be to unplug Sonos.
I have a desktop IMac & understand I can't connect Sonos Play 1 to it through Airport Express etc..... What about the SONOS Advanced Settings window where it says "Wireless Setup" - to configure my Sonos system to run on my local wireless network..... What does this do? Why should I use this or not?
Dear people and fellow Sonos lovers, I've just bought the Sonos Playbar and made a surround setting in my living room with two Play 1's. All good but there is one problem: Whenever I put on the TV and my box for the channels (it's just a little box with HDMI 1 to TV for the channels) the soundbar immediately starts working and also the TV and the channel box. Well... for 3 seconds. Then the HDMI 1 port stops working (doesn't find my box) while both (TV and box) are on. I have to switch to HDMI port 2 and back to 1 and then it works just fine. But I hate to do this ALL THE TIME when I turn on the TV. Someone else got this problem or tips how I can solve this? Thanks in advance.
Hi My Sonos alway activate alarm and continues (always ring/not stop) as below condition. 1.Alarm time 08:00am onwards 2.Time zone is GMT+7:00 Bangkok/Jakarta I'm already troubleshoot as below information. 1. Change time zone to another time zone and change back to GMT+7, But I'm still facing this problem. 2. Disable Internet time update and manually time setting, It still occur. My diagnosis number is 694227
I've had the wake up alarm on my Sonos set for the same time for months and it's worked fine. This morning I woke up and paused the playlist but it will not pause (it just jumps to the next track) and the volume keeps increasing everytime the track changes. It won't let me change track - the only thing I can do is turn the volume down. I've reinstalled the app on my phone but it now wont connect to the Sonos. Help me please! How can I fix this?
Woke up this morning to the Sonos system playing, but I don't have an alarm set for it to go on till Saturday and Sunday (it's Friday now). The system won't stop playing, won't pause... when I try, it just plays the next song. Tried unplugging the Sonos speakers, waiting, then plugging back in.... picks right back up and still won't stop playing. What's up?
Here's an interesting issue, I've had the unit for a couple of years and it's been working fine. This morning the unit has two issues, the first is it refuses to play anything except BBC Radio 2 from TuneIn. It won't play any other station nor any other source such as Spotify or a local file. If you select a different source there is a brief interruption, the top light flashes green then it returns to Radio 2. The second issue is it keeps dropping out of my wireless network even though the signal is strong and my other wireless Sonos devices are fine. It doesn't drop out when I connected via an Ethernet cable but the first issue persists. Can anyone offer any suggestions?
Since yesterday, it is impossible to switch-off one of our sonos3. When trying to switch it off, the sound will go off and will come back within seconds. I have tried to switch it off using different control-devices: KO. I have unplugged it for about 30': KO. I am now short of ideas... Any hint?
Bonjour, je n'arrive pas a connecter ma playbar avec ma television, j'ai acheter un adaptateur pour la prise optique car j'en ai pas sur ma televison et donc je peut brancher l'adaptateur sur la prise jack de ma tele et la ptise optique sur la playbar, mais malgré sa, cela ne fonctionne pas. Merci de vos réponses.
My system has been great for at least 10 months. Tonight it decided to rebel. My playbar has gotten a playlist which isn't playing and it results in chime. When I stop and clear the playlist it resets. I've unplugged and reloaded and it starts again. I've deleted the iOS app and reinstalled and it starts again. I've cleared the playlist and it reloads without my input. It feels possessed. Sorry for the hyperbole but it's been going on for three hours. I have no idea what's happening. Help!
Since today my sonos system constantly starts to play music. If I try to shut it off (via hardware button or the app) it starts up again after 3 seconds. Seems to be related to alarms saved for the speaker, if I delete all alarms the speaker stays out. Software update appreciated!!!
So just updated off the Beta to the most recent update and now my play:1 speaker will not exit the boot mode or allow for a factory reset(consulted with the Tech Support team before attempting this). After we established that the system would not reset they tell me that since the year warranty was up in February on the speaker it would be a $109 service charge to fix the speaker. Anyone else experience this craziness?!??! This speaker has been working for the last year and a half and now due to their update messing up the device I need to practically purchase a brand new speaker? For a high end audio solution that should last a long time, this seems like very poor customer service.
Hi at all! I have a nearly rock solid SONOS here at my house. But, whilst copying an image (size ca. 600x600 150 kb) from my laptop via MP3tag and wifi to my Synology DS114 NAS I have serious cutouts / intermittings. When the copying has ended, no problem to play the music files through my SONOS. Any suggestions on that?
Since this morning, my SONOS connect/amp continuously plays the alarm. On this unit, I have preset an alarm for each day. The selected music is a Deezer playlist. Stopping it with the top-button results in a restart of the programmed Deezer playlist. Erasing the alarm and recreating it results in the same problem. I have already tried to reset ALL SONOS-devices, including the controller and PC-APP, with no result. Deleting all entries in the Que does not help. The que is refilled with the previous Deezer-music immediately. An upgrade of all devices does not help. Reindexing the music library doesn't change anything.
I have three zone players, 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom and 1 lounge. however the bedroom zone is currently on radio 4 and if I try and add music to the zone it does not allow me (error 1002). the other two zones work fine. so if I go into party mode and select all zone and then choose music, the lounge and bathroom work but the bedroom zone keeps playing the radio.
I have two routers the one that my connect amp is on is not wi-fi which is my fiber modem there by I can not use the iPad with Sonos, the wi-fi router is on a different floor but is connected to the fiber modem on one of the 4 ports. How can I set it up to be able to use iPad with my connect amp. I am using a CR200 to control the connect amp and also have a iPod dock with an iPhone that I use as a NAS. Can't switch the routers as the none wi-fi is also the fiber modem where the cable is ran and the wi-fi is just a router that is connected to the modem router as well to connect things on that floor.
Er staat een playlist in se olyer die krijg ik niet weg . Zowel de app opnieuw geïnstalleerd als de sonos Connect gereset. Items een voor een proberen te wissen en nu krijg ik mededeling dat er ongewoon veel aanvragen oid zijn en is de player tijdelijk onbruikbaar....wat te doen ?
