Microphone not working

I have issues with Sonos only playing radio stations and nothing from amazon music. I de registered my Sonos and created a new account and have re set all the links. To re register I was told to reboot. However the SONOS microphone is not working and unresponsive to touch. I can only play music on the Sonos  by asking Alexa through my mobile. How can I get the microphone to work on the SONOS?

Stereo Speaker Issues

Hello, My stereo speakers in my office rarely work. My right one often is recognized and plays, but many times the left speaker does not play with it. One of the speakers fades out probably 60% of the time. Assistance would be appreciated.

Analog output PCB repair for legacy ZP80 / Connect units

I have several older ZP80 and Connect units with failed analog out stages but zero appetite for pitching my entire system for S2 replacement devices.  In the past I’ve rescued an older ZP100/Amp by replacing obviously failed bulging electrolytic caps.  Hoping there might be a similar component level fix for this apparently all-too-common failure mode of the older Connects. If it’s a matter of some simple passive component(s) that have given up the ghost but can be readily reworked that would be ideal.  If the audio codec IC itself the culprit then that’s rather more involved.  Plan B is to buy a cheapo ADC from Amazon and hope the digital outs still function on my two failed Connect units.

Move not working

I have been using our move for months without Amy problem. Now I have had installed 5 Ubituiti Wifi access points and the move has disappeared from the Sonos app.I have tried re-booting it and it is still missing, very frustrating. Kindly help. Many thanks

Unable to consistently switch between rooms

I have 4 zones/rooms, and I cannot consistently switch between rooms using either the iOS app or the PC app.  As a 10 year Sonos user, this basic functionality is clear to me but after power cycling the router, waiting overnight and then trying to play in a specific room, the music will continue to play in the former room that I have unchecked and won’t change over to the different room.The zones/rooms are not dropped, they are visible in all apps.I run S1 with a legacy Play5, a legacy Connect:AMP, a new Amp and a supported old Connect:AMP, with the amplifiers powering only 1 pair of speakers.

Airplay Glitch When Playing On Mobile Device

I am hoping some other people have experienced this issue.  Typically it happens on my iPad (pro, air and mini). If I am watching an app like AT&T TV or Direct TV stream on either device and try to play the sound through any of my sonos speakers the screen will grey out and display “Airplay”. I can hear the sound through my speakers however the video is not displayed on my device. If I switch my “move” or “roam” to bluetooth it will work normal.It doesn't happen on Netflix or Hulu. But it will happen on HBO Max, Direct TV Stream, Starz, and a few others. Has anyone had this problem and found a fix??

Only getting sound from one Sonos One in a stereo pair on Apple TV

I have two Sonos Ones stereo paired and have connected to my Apple TV (running tvOS 15.2) and when I select the Audio output to Living Room (my stereo pair Sonos Ones) I only get sound out of my right speaker.  The left speaker is completely silent.  This is not an issue when listening to music via the stereo pair on the So is app, just when using Airplay on the Apple TV.  I changed the Apple TV format to Stereo but that didn’t work as well. Wondering if there is a

Sonos & Amazon Music Stations - Atmos issue on Beam Gen 2

Hi,Anyone else having a “volume way too low” problem when listening to an Amazon Music Station and an Atmos track starts playing just after a non-Atmos track?I've had this issue since Atmos Music was launched by Sonos & Amazon last December. I have been in constant contact with Sonos support since then, but they weren't able neither to acknowledge the problem nor to fix it.What I know is that if I simply pause this Atmos track (which I can't barely listen to) and then resume it, the “volume way too low” issue is gone… until the next Atmos track comes in :-(I'm trying to find out a pattern for troubleshooting.

Soundbar starts sporadic

Hi.My soundbar sometimes start a radiostation randomly in the morning on different times and different volumes. I can't turn it of I my app, have to go to the soundbar and turn it off by the button on the soundbar..Anyone experience this problem?Best regards!

Sonos available diagnostic info

I have bought a Sonos Amp and a Port to augment my system of 2 Sonos 5s, a Playbar and several Ones and Ikea speakers. I'm on Sonos net and have historically always suffered from interference. It's a big help being able to use the Support info to check signal strength etcHowever the Amp and the Port are showing no info or colours etc on the report. I understand this may be a change in policy from Sonos - is that the case?And if so……. why do it?

system plays by itself

At random times... my system starts by itself, often playing very loudly. This just started a couple months ago. Sometimes will start in middle of night, including the outdoor speakers. I have to figure out how to stop this! I tried disconnecting the system for a week while we were on vacation, but it did it again today when i plugged in the system again

Connect:Amp Line-In - Won't wake if input level too low

Connect:AmpSoftware Version: 67.1-25031Hardware Version: 1.17.3.1-2.1I have a TV playing audio through the Connect:Amp’s line in. The volume is loud enough and everything works well apart from one thing.If there is some audio produced by the TV after a period of silence, the Connect:Amp misses the first second of the audio. If the audio after the period of silence is less than a second long, or not loud enough, the Connect:Amp does not output the sound at all to the speakers.Would anyone know how to solve this annoying problem?

Voice Services “Sonos Offline”

Voice Services not working suddenly. Neither Alexa or Google assistant can connect to Sonos Ones. GA says “can’t connect” and Alexa show the speakers offline. I have tried absolutely EVERY troubleshooting step without success. Of course, Sonos support unavailable till Tuesday. Any thing I might be missing?Also…no microphone light on.

Cannot add second-hand Boost to my S1 system

I’m trying to add a second-hand (ebay) Boost to one of my S1 systems.On the first setup attempt, the S1 iOS app indicated that a device reset was required. That’s plausible. I’ve now reset the device, twice, generating the expected set of flashing LED sequences.On several subsequent attempts, the app just doesn’t find the Boost. The Boost is wired to the network, has acquired an IP address, and is pingable from other devices over both the wired and wireless networks. The Boost’s LED is flashing green, as one would expect during setup.Is it possible that if the Boost was previously used on an S2 system (as is likely), there’s a problem in now adding it to an S1 system?

Same problems everyone else seems to have.... set it up, worked for a few minutes... popped an error. Will not work with Xfinity now.... tried reading all the suggestions here, just made me more upset that my gear I paid good money for will not work now.

Youtube - Iphone(IOS 15.3) - Airplay - Something went wrong

Hi Team,Since the update of IOS 15 i could not airpplay youtube on any of my Sonos Device like Play Five,Play One,Arc.When i airplay i get “Somethig went wrong” black screen on youtube app in phone and no audio on Sonos or Phone.But Airplay does work directly on my LG TV for youtube.This is happening since IOS 15 update and the current version is 15.3 and youtube app latest with premium sunscription. Regards,Varadh

S1 iOS App constantly crashing

Have a wired S1 Sonos system running Sonosnet.When playing something on my system and then relaunching the iOS app after a little while to change the track, the app freezes straight away when trying to reconnect and then crashes to the homescreen. Relaunching the app after crashing works.I am still able to control the S1 volume from the iOS homescreen in between these episodes and my CR200 functions perfectly.I have run the Network matrix to have a look at the units and everything seems ok.Changing Sonosnet channel does not help. Grateful for any advice.

Audio randomly stops for 5 seconds in random zones

We three zones in our home, two are powered with separate Connect:Amps and the remaining zone is a Play:5 that we don’t use as often and so can’t verify whether this issue happens on the Play:5. We've been having this issue randomly for years now and it’s frustrating.  We can have simultaneous playback going in two of the zones, playing the same song, and one of the zones will just randomly stop playing for 5-10 seconds and then it comes right back.  The Connect:Amps are hardwired and we have a super reliable wireless network anyways, so it’s definitely not a connectivity issue.  We recently got a new ethernet switch and that has made no difference, the issue happened before the new switch and it still happens now.  Also, the fact that playback never skips a beat in the other zone indicates to me it’s not a problem with the Internet connection or even the LAN.If we listen to music for 5 hours straight, the issue may happen 3-4 times over the course of those 5 hours.  Not enough to make

PLAY 1 CONNECTION PROBLEM

Hi there, I have 2 play1, 1 playbar and 1 play 5 in my house. and last week I moved to another house so another internet connection. I configured my playbar and one of my play 1 but I couldnt connect my second play 1. When i tried with ethernet cable it works. but when i try with wifi it stopped to play.Realy i m tired of it. Help mee! :)

Sonos 1 lost a speaker

My Sonos 1 system has lost the second speaker and I can’t re-install it because I need Android 10 or above on my Nexus 7 device, purchased as part of the original system installation.  But the Nexus 7 only has Android 6.0.1 on it and can’t upgrade to give me the add/remove feature I need.  Nor can Sonos download the original version of software which supports Android 6.0.1.  Is there anyone out there that can provide me a copy of the software or a get around please?  I don’t see why i need to purchase another mobile device when everything else is working ok.  Thank you

Play:1 stereo pair doesn’t play while One SL is on

I have a Play:1 stereo pair that has stopped working when a new One SL is powered on and I’m playing to “everywhere.” When I do this, the Sonos app on all devices reports that the stereo pair is playing, but there is no audio on the stereo pair. While music is playing to all other speakers, I can play different music to the stereo pair, but I cannot play the same music everywhere unless I unpair the two speakers. if I unpair the two speakers, they work fine.This problem goes away for a while if I power down the SL, get music started everywhere, then power up the SL. When I perform this process, music stops at all speakers and the app loses contact with the Sonos cluster for a while before I can get music going.  The pair works for a few hours after I do this.I have filed diagnostic report 1008105106 because wow, fascinating….

Sonos Connect suddenly disappeared from S2 app

I’ve had a Sonos Connect on my S2 app for about a year. Suddenly it has disappeared. I’ve tried the “find missing devices”, updating S2, plugging the connect into an Ethernet cable and updated the connect.  It functions correctly  on Ethernet, and it will go through the setup process on WiFi successfully but it never appears in my system on S2. Any ideas?  I have an ASUS mesh router

Sonos Beam doesn't show up in app

My Sonos beam constantly disappears from the app. I have to every time I open the app, unplug my sonos beam from the power, and plug it back in for it to show. I’ve called tech support once before and fixed my router settings to pick up B/G/N signals. That worked for about a week. Now, the Beam does not show up in the Sonos app unless I unplug the power and plug it back in.Is there another option for me to fix it? This is incredibly frustrating.

faulty playbase

I picked up this play base from a friend who said it just stopped working, gave me it FOC, (he has far too much £££) I plugged it in & there’s no lights on the front but there’s an awful high pitched sound coming from within, doesn’t sound like it’s coming from the speakers. When plugged in for a 10mins the top surface is getting warm which I’d expect but nothing else. I’m sure it’s out of warranty & I’m not sure who to turn to. Any advice would be appreciated.
