I've received this error message when trying to add itunes purchase to my playlist. It shows up in sonos but I get the error message below. Unable to play '02 Solitaire.m4a' - access to //MARKO-LAPTOP/Music/Carpenters/Love Songs/02 Solitaire.m4a denied. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?
I have a ok size play system. A playbar, sub, two play5 and 4 play1. I went to bed last night and all was working fine, I wake up this morning and all have disappeared off my sonos app except for the playbar. Why and how did this happen? It has never happened before. Now I have to go around and relearn all of them in the system.
Good evening, i just bought a new play 3 to add to my existing system, I'm receiving error 1101 when attempting to update my play 3, i completely uninstalled the controller from my mac after reading some of the descriptions of that error code. Unfortunately i still get the same error. I'm attempting to send you a diagnostic but get the message "your diagnostic information could not be sent at this time" can you help?
My Sonos system was working fine until Christmas. Since then on the controller my Play 3 keeps dropping off and then coming back again. I have tried moving it. Deleting it and re-adding it. Keeps dropping songs. Play list keeps saying that it cannot find my music and skips songs. Music that is playing on Play 3 on the controller in a Goup with Play 1 (x 2) the whole thing vanishes off the controller and I cannot stop the music unless I switch off the computer. Not a happy bunny at the moment
I have had my Play 1 for 6 weeks and all has been well. However, I now find that the bass sounds very "floppy" and "pops" on the beat. I have tried music and radio all with the same results. I have recalibrated but cannot shift the problem. I submitted a diagnostic under 6991438 in the hope this might help. Does anybody have any advice?
Dear Sonos, Please help! I bought my Sonos surround set 2 weeks ago. I super like Sonos players. I linked Spotify to Sonos and it worked fine. It was working fine until 2 days ago. I tried to play from my Spotify on Sonos. However, there's no sound coming from my Sonos, though, it seems like a song is playing. I lost control on my Sonos completely. It seems to hang the Sonos Controller as well. Please Help!
Hello, My SONOS installation is compound of : - A sonos connect, directly connected to my wired LAN - A SONOS Play 5 which is connected via the SONOS net WIFI Both players are in the same room, at a distance of about 6 meters. Most of the time, when I connect from the SONOS Controler, I can see the room corresponding to the SONOS Connect, but not the one corresponding to the Play 5. If I physically click on the play button, the steam start instantly, with good quality (no lag at all). After I launched it and the stream start, I can see the Paly 5 now appearing in the controller. This is really a pain, cause if I can't manage my players from Mobile before physically accessing them, It'will be difficult to managed multiroom, and I have a plan to enhance my installation with many new players for multiroom. This issue don't look like a WIFI issue, as the stream as qoog quality. It's more like if the player was "Asleep". The only way to wake it up it to physically l
I have my connect hooked up to my Bose Wave radio and have had it this way for about 2 years. It has worked flawlessly, until today! It is only playing about 1 second of music every 25-30 seconds. I have tried adding the connect again, unplugging it and plugging it back in, updating the controller, updating the sonos system, but nothing has worked. Any ideas on this? It would be greatly appreciated!
Hey there, So as the title says I'm having [s]3[/s] [s]2[/s] 1 problem[s]s[/s] right now with my sonos system. My system consists of two Play:1s and a Connect. [s][b]Issue 1:[/b] Currently one Play:1 is unable to update and has been unable for some time now. When the other parts of the system are connected I get error code 30. I follow those instructions and unplug everything except for the Play:1 that is having issues. I attempt to update again and I am given error code 1101. I don't have direct access to either my modem or router because my network is handled by a 3rd party company paid for by my landlord and I am to assume that both of those pieces of equipment are stored in a locked closet on my floor. Hi, I would really appreciate any help. My sonos player 1 is connected to the wifi. However, when I try to add music services it does not give me any options. Right now I can only play songs on my itunes, but I want to be able to use spotify. The problem might be that sonos can connect to the wifi, but not to the internet. The wifi is a communal wifi in my apartment, similar to that of a hotel, where you connect and then enter your personalised username and password. Also, when I go click on update app (which I'm fairly sure is the newest update anyway), it tells me Error 1101. And it wont load or tell me any information. So is there anyway to connect it to spotify? If there is a bluetooth option or anything I dont mind. Just as long as I can use spotify on my sonos player. Thanks so much, Alex
Since the latest update (6.3.1), having adjusted the volume of one of the sonos devices (from the sonos controller app on my iphone), the volume of the phone ringer on my iphone is dropped to the relative level that I had just set on the sonos. If you turn the volume of the iphone ringer back to full and then go back into the sonos app and adjust the volume of the music source playing, the same thing happens again! I have restarted every device (inc router etc) in the appropriate order and it has made no difference.
Sonos not finding music, sometimes giving error 1002, sometimes telling me it cant connect. My router is a meter away from my mac and the speaker is less than a meter away from the router. I've restarted, rebooted and tried the support pages, but they are no help at all. Its been happening over the last couple of days and corrected itself, now nothing... Any advice?
Hi there I have recently added two Play:1 speakers to my Sonos ecosystem at home (each one in a different room). The one Play:1 stays connected to both Sonos Controller and Spotify. No problem there. The other Play:1 is only connected to Spotify. I cannot see it in my Sonos Controller app under Rooms. If I switch the Play:1 that is not connected to the Sonos Controller off and on again it seems to reconnect to both Spotify and Sonos Controller. After a while it then disconnects from the Sonos controller again, but is still controllable from Spotify. This problem seems to be slightly different from what some other users on this forum have been experiencing with it not connecting at all. Is there something I'm missing? Thanks
What does WM and OTP mean? I think WM means I'm connected to SonosNet but I've NEVER seen this OTP setting before (and it's blank)...can anyone explain/let me know if this is normal? Thanks! Hello, When i install the SONOS Controller app and use it my android OS is chrashing randomly. It drops to the srceen where i have to enter the SIM-PIN and can only do emergency calls. i tried following without success: - reset controller - uninstalled and reinstalled the app - cleared the android cache in the recoverymode I am the only one having this problem?
Hi.. have playbar , 2 play one speakers and sub . All in Lounge and was working great. Trueplay update and sound bar has no sound . Play one and sub work .. can't find playbar on room setting either . It just up and left... have factory reset playbar and it went to room Lounge 2 ..can't find Lounge 2 or sound bar anywhere. Have deleted and reinstalled sonos app .. help
