I get my songs for Sonos from my iTunes library, and Sonos pulls them from my PC. When I call up my iTunes list on Sonos, it lists them my artist. But some artists don't appear on the lists. Yet, when I "shuffle" songs, songs from some of those "missing" artists appear and play. So they are there; they just don't show up on the main list. Why is that? Can anyone help so I can see all of them?
Sometimes when I mute the volume on my Playbase using my Sky remote when I unmute it the sound doesn't come back and requires me to toggle the volume control on the remote to bring the sound back. It's not consistent - happens around 40% of the time - any ideas how I can fix it? TV is a Sony Bravia
I have four "Play 1" and two "Play 3" speakers set up. I have the CONNECT set up. Music plays great. Problem - in the list of rooms on the app I have a room or speaker labeled "Garage" but there is no longer a speaker in my garage as it was moved to the porch and renamed. I can't delete the room called "Garage" from my app but there is no speaker. Weird, I can even select it in the app and it appears to be playing music but I've cranked the volume and gone room to room to see if somehow the speaker got plugged in somewhere but no music can be heard, no Play 1 or Play 3 can be found. How do I delete this room from the app?
I have a library of about 12,000 songs, mostly FLAC. I'm familiar with music tags and believe that all the tracks in the album have correct track tag #. I've looked at the internal Sonos track status DB via http. In the album in question, all tracks have a sort key like 65547, but the track with the sort error has it's FLAC tag, 11 as the sort key. I've tried to replace the FLAC file with an mp3 file, same name, track 11, correct mp3 tag, same result.
I have two separate Sonos installations - one at home and one in the office. The local wifi is totally different in both, one using an Apple Airport and one using a Huawei wifi. [b] Both have the same issue though[/b] - Spotify stops playing after a few minutes. TuneIn radio works without any issues. I have upgraded to latest software. Both my installations use two Play 1:s. How can it be fixed?
I am on boost, I have my connect:amp plugged into router. Everything is updated. It asked the language then has me hit the play/+ buttons and it's says connecting and then fails to. Sonos said they can't help because they don't support it anymore which is bs. Don't want to support it fine......brig out a new version of the remote. Help would be great if anyone knows the trick.
I'm using Deezer premium. Since yesterday, when I attempt to select a particular track from an album the media player strip at the bottom of the screen displays "no music". If I select play all then the album will play, I can also skip to next track. I am only able to select individual tracks by opening the three dot menu on the right side and pressing play. But then playback will stop after that track. Any ideas?
Trying to find assistance for a play 1 that wont connect to system after recent software update. No phone number to call, offices closed and have send numerous tweets over the last 2 hours with no response. Do you realize people use your systems on the weekends? This is a joke.
I am new to Spotify (RIP Pandora) and have noticed songs play, but skip prior to the end. Also, sometimes skips one song after the next without actually starting, but this usually only occurres when connecting to the Sonos system. Pleanty of previous posts on this topic with no solutions. Diagnostic report submitted 7766041. Any thoughts?
Okay so we have a problem which is that when i try to update in my phone it says that a problem has occured error 11 and the names of the rooms where we have the play 5 players. I tried to restart the whole thing but it wont work still and the wifi is okay it's working. Does someone know what error 11 is? Because i couldn't find anything about it in the support pages or anywhere. And the other thing is when I try to setup a new system my phone can't see the players or the controllers but the light is green. Any idea?
I have also droped sound intermittently... tech cant fix it ...I've been on the phone .. hours with them...I suggest a CLASS ACTION SUIT at this point...let me know if you are interested!!! I have two play threes... two play fives and a sound bar with boist...that's a lot of money for system that sucks!!!!
Unable to connect to SiriusXM through SONOS app/controller. Apple iOS SiriusXM app is working without any issues.
The last week or so I have not been able to connect to SiriusXM through the SONOS App. I'm receiving bad username/password for my SiriusXM account. Ok, I have owned my play bar for 18 months or so and despite reading forums and all instructions and pointers, I am unable to create favourites lists. Using the three dots method, I get a number of options I.e. Find more tracks by this artist etc but nowhere is there an option to add to favourites. Any help or advice would be welcomed as it's becoming seriously irritating creating a new play list of the various tracks I prefer to listen to?
