I am so fed up with Sonos. It cost a fortune for the equipment and we haven't had it stable for a day yet. I have tried disabling firewalls, getting a new router, turning off every electronic device in the house and then turning them back on as described. Windows is set up to allow media streaming to other devices. I have recreated my iTunes library. I am on Windows 10. Sonos is up to date. We had it installed by a professional. I am using McAfee anti-virus (also up to date). What other hoops do i need to jump through to get this to work? Could someone recommend next steps that would let me listen to music instead of spending hours trouble shooting this. Please.
My music library is on a shared USB Drive and has been working perfectly for over 6 month. Today I was unable to access it so I removed it and am trying to add it. I can access the drive from another computer in my home network, but cannot add it to Sonos. I am suspicious of a Windows 10 update which occurred yesterday. I've attached an image of Error dialog. Has anyone else experience this? Thanks c.s.
Hello, I recently purchased a Playbar. The playbar itself works very well. However, when I attempt to group the playbar and any other speaker and play TV audio on both, the TV audio skips every few seconds on the other speaker. For example, if I group the playbar and a Play:1 in another room and attempt to play TV Audio, the playbar plays the TV audio without issue, but the Play:1 skips. This does NOT happen with music or any other audio sources. Any thoughts on why this might be happening or on how I might resolve this issue? Thanks in advance!
HELLO SONOS: Can you please fix this issue with too high minimum levels on the speakers!? What's up with ignoring so many people/customers with the same issues?? This has been an issue and a tread for more than 2 years now. It should be a very simple update, So get on with it - pls. Also - how very kind it would be to respond thoroughly to the remarks in about this issue the forum. People spend a lot of time and energy addressing these issues, the least you can do is to acknowledge your customers and answer. Thank you.
I have had my sonos system for over a year and a half, we have 6 speakers and a line-in for the phonograph. This error suddenly appeared on the desktop and now won't add my music library but amazon services still work. Please help, change of computer name, firewall settings didn't work. I ran a diagnostic and have the code ready.
This is becoming quite frustrating, but my players / rooms are continually dropping out. It's easy to re-add them, but this time, it's a no-go. Before I call tomorrow, I thought I'd check here to see if anyone has had the same issue in the last 24 hours. Holding down the top magic buttons on each player just shows an orange light for a solid minute or two, then back to the whitish light, and the message "Player Can't Be Found." Everything's plugged in. Router's well. Distance hasn't changed. Sorry I can't provide more techie info, but nothing has changed and everything's as it should be.
There is no way to plan a party with this technology : there is always a risk that the connection between Sonos and Spotify gets lost. You're just stucked with your friends with no music. I've been experiencing connection issues several times but this time, it's been one week that there is no possibility for me to listen to my Spotify playlist from Sonos. If someone could help, he would be more than welcome
Hi am having issues with adding tracks to the queue using either my iPhone or iPad. Both are connected to the same network as my mac. Usually get message that unable to add track as cannot connect to MAC/Music (location of music on my mac) Often get error 1002 as well. No issues selecting music directly from my mac though. Any advice?
Hi, I was wondering if it is possible to remove unused controllers from account (shown on Sonos account website) My children friends added their smartphones as controllers, and I would like to purge the long list of controllers associated with my system. This because I read somewhere that there is a max number of 32 controllers, and I don't want to find the situation one day when they added the max number. So, I have these questions: 1- what if I reach 32 controllers and I want to add some new? 2- will controller number 33 overwrite older controllers? 3- is it true that the controller max number is 32? I tried resetting all the components, on the web site they now show a new registration date, but the controllers are still there.... Than you
My Play 5 was working fine this morning until it suddenly decided to disconnect from my wireless network. I've not changed anything to caused it. I've tried resetting the speaker by holding the connect button, connecting it to a different wireless network but it still couldn't manage to connect and I'm given the "Wireless Problem" page. Can I have some help please?
For no aparrent reason, when sonos is not being used. Every couple of days sonos turns itself on an emit a loud explosion type noise that continues until I unplug the speakers. It's not white or pink noise, more like a distortion or rumbing. I have 2 sonos 1 speakers and a connect. My Tv is plugged into the connect line in but the tv is off. Any ideas?
