High Pitched squeal with Sky Q mini. Beam

Panasonic ex750b

I get a loud high pitched squeal from the Beam when changing channels. Dd to dd or dd to non dd. Used to be occasionally, but now all the time. 

 

Setting the q mini to stereo is a workaround but it's not really the answer. 

 

What troubleshooting can be done?

It’s not clear how the Beam is connected to the TV, but if using HDMI, then first try a different cable and if no luck there, then perhaps try the TV’s optical connection (using the adapter supplied). It may perhaps help to narrow-down and pin-point the cause of the high-pitched squeal.
