Getting error 1002 when trying to add music library folder.

Get error 1002 message if Norton Internet Security firewall is active on Windows 10 machine. If I deactivate the firewall everything works fine. I have updated the Norton firewall per settings on SONOS support website.

I have the same issue. Did you get this resolved?
The problem Sonos has (and probably many other programs as well) is that at any moment, Norton can update your system, often without your knowledge, and certainly without telling folks like Sonos. I'd be willing to bet that there's a frequent "check" process that Sonos has scheduled to check the latest settings for various firewalls, so that they can update their instructions.

I'm guessing that there has been an recent update, it may be quicker for you to try Sonos twitter suppor, which is 24.7, where as the support here in the forums tends to be M-F. .
