Followed the guides but App cant connect to Sonos

For about a month now none of us in the house have been able to connect to our Play:3. Followed the advice about rebooting router, deleting and reinstalling the App, but nothing works. Have tried to connect and play via Android, IOS and OS, but no luck. 
 

Unhappy and unimpressed, so anyone able to help will be a star.

Have you tried connecting it via Ethernet to your router? Taking wireless out of the Setup makes things a lot simpler. Once that works, then switch it to WiFi (assuming the Play:3 is your sole Sonos device).
