I have an Audio Technica turntable plugged into my Play 5. It plays fine in the room over the 5 but in some of the other rooms there are intermittent dop outs of the audio. I have done a full internet reset and reconfigured the lounge home theatre set up I have (sonos beam and 2 Play 3’s as surround. I only tend to play the vinyl over this at night and have relatively few devices being use at the same time. Please could you advise as to how I might solve the problem. I have 2000ms as an audio delay which helped for a while.

As I suggested earlier, compressed mode may be solution.

That’s a fairly good indication of some wifi interference, since the line in requires more bandwidth than the normal streaming signal does. I’d be taking a look at that FAQ for potential things that might be related to your system, and apply what solutions are suggested.

After that, if it continues, I would recommend that you submit a system diagnostic within 10 minutes of having a dropout, and call Sonos Support to discuss it.

There may be information included in the diagnostic that will help Sonos pinpoint the issue and help you find a solution.

When you speak directly to the phone folks, there are more options available beyond just the diagnostic analysis available here in the forums.
